Umeed (Hope) Hospital, Mureed, Chakwal is a vision of two brothers Haji Murid Sultan (late) and Haji Taleh Mehdi. This dream is becoming a reality slowly but surely. When its foundation stone was laid on 19th June 2005 and work finally started in January 2006, after a detailed plan was laid out keeping in mind all the requirements of a modern and a well equipped Hospital.

Our Mission
Our mission at Umeed (Hope) Hospital is to offer accessible and high-quality healthcare to those in need, regardless of their financial status. Recognizing the lack of healthcare facilities in the backward area of District Chakwal. Umeed (Hope) Hospital has been established to uplift the health standards of areas around District Chakwal using similar healthcare protocols used in National Health Service (NHS) UK. Our aims is to provide a range of essential services, including General OPD, Eye Care, Laboratory Services, Emergency Department, and Pharmacy, with plans to expand into Gynaecology and extend limit of 40 bed hospital into 100-bed hospital. Our goal is to deliver not only basic health facilities but move to a comprehensive healthcare, including 24/7 doctor availability and advanced medical resources. This 100-bed facility will be a significant milestone for the people of district Chakwal, reflecting our commitment to improving community health and well-being.

We take pride in being District Chakwal's only hospital that provides treatment first and take payment only if patients are able to afford it. Thanks to the unwavering support of our Chairman Haji Taleh Mehdi, who provides 90% of funds through personal efforts via commercial activities in UK, and with it, we've been able to provide high-quality healthcare at no cost to deserving patients. While we charge a nominal fee of just 100 Rs for OPD registration, all treatments for those in need are 100% free. In times of disaster, we've extended our care to include shelter and relief for those affected. Your trust has empowered us to make a lasting impact, ensuring everyone receives the support they deserve, regardless of their circumstances.
COVID Vaccination Centre
During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, Umeed Hospital played a vital roll for the surrounding areas of district Chakwal. With the support of the Punjab government, we successfully administered over 50,000 vaccinations, playing a crucial role in safeguarding our community. Despite immense challenges, our dedicated team worked tirelessly handling hundreds of patients daily in the hospital and its staff displayed unwavering commitment and resilience, leading to a remarkable achievement of carrying out a highest number of vaccination in the district and making a significant impact during this crisis.
Our Pharmacy
Our pharmacy adheres to international standards of medicine , ensuring a wide range of high-quality products to meet the diverse medical needs of our patients. Our offerings include antibiotics for bacterial infections, pain management medications such as analgesics and opioids, and cardiovascular drugs like antihypertensives and anticoagulants. For diabetes management, we provide various insulins and oral hypoglycemics. Respiratory medications, including bronchodilators and corticosteroids, are available to manage breathing issues. Our gastrointestinal medications address digestive problems with antacids, anti-diarrheals, and laxatives. Additionally, we offer antivirals, antifungals, and essential vaccines for influenza, hepatitis B, and MMR, ensuring comprehensive care for infectious diseases.
